About Us
We are a small Newfoundland breeder located in eastern Ky. We take pride in raising healthy, happy puppies in our breeding program. We breed for temperament, health, size, and conformation. Our puppies are raised on our 600 acre farm where they get lots of one on one time and attention all day long from us as well as our children. Our puppies are very socialized well-rounded puppies.
I have worked in the animal industry for over 15 years, from animal behavioral, training, and vet assisting as well being raised on a farm. I am very blessed to be able to love what I do each and everyday. All of our dogs are part of our family and go on family outings, hikes, swimming, and nature walks with us.

Ozark Legends Newfoundlands
Founded in 2018, Ozark Legends Newfoundlands began as the realization of a lifelong dream for Kimberly Ohse, who dedicated herself to raising and caring for these majestic dogs.
In May 2024, Kimberly was introduced to Nikki Doyle through a mutual acquaintance. Nikki brought with her extensive experience in the animal industry, having worked as a professional animal behaviorist and trainer, as well as spending over a decade as a veterinary assistant. She also provided dedicated pet-sitting services, further expanding her hands-on experience with dogs.
Both Kimberly and Nikki grew up with dogs and developed a deep appreciation for the Newfoundland breed, which quickly became their shared passion. Their connection led to a strong friendship and, soon after, a professional collaboration in breeding. As Nikki developed an interest in the AKC Conformation ring and began handling some of Kimberly’s dogs in competition, their mutual respect continued to grow.
Over time, their partnership evolved naturally. In January 2026, Kimberly and Nikki formally established co-ownership of Ozark Legends Newfoundlands. Together, they are committed to responsible breeding practices, comprehensive health testing, and thoughtful, selective pairings. They actively participate in conformation shows and remain dedicated to the continual improvement of their breeding program.
Their goal is to produce exceptional Newfoundland puppies, healthy, well-tempered, and structurally sound dogs that can excel in the show ring, obedience, water rescue, and therapy work, while also serving as loving family companions.
